From the Venue: "An evening with Cruz Contreras of The Black Lillies featuringvWalker Turner from Many Nights Ahead.

Cruz and Walker first met after the Black Lillies played a show at Clementine in downtown Harrisonburg, VA. Walker’s band, Many Nights Ahead, later opened for the Black Lillies on several occasions. They both like to create and play music drawing on influence from Americana and blues.

Walker Turner: Co-founder of the band Many Nights Ahead, Walker has found his niche playing the melodic style banjo with a solid blues influence. MNA has entertained music lovers from MA to TN. "Many Nights Ahead does what they want with bluegrass instruments. You will hear a bit of every genre that has influenced the members individually and has ultimately come together to form the unique sound of Many Nights Ahead. With underlying tones of blues, bluegrass, funk, and Americana, the audience is in for quite a ride." -Clementine Cafe."
